Job Title: Sales Director
Location: Onsite - San Diego

Basic Pay Range: $100,000 - $150,000

The Sales Director will play a critical role in shaping and executing CorDx's sales strategy in the rapidly evolving IVD market. This position is responsible for driving sales growth, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and leading the sales team toward achieving and surpassing sales targets.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in the IVD sector.
  • Lead and mentor the sales team, setting objectives, reviewing performance, and driving professional development.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key accounts, industry stakeholders, and decision-makers within the healthcare and diagnostics community.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that may impact sales strategies or product demand.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, and BD teams to align sales strategies with market needs and product offerings.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty through excellent service and support.
  • Manage complex sales negotiations and agreements with major accounts and new prospects.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management, utilizing CRM tools and sales metrics.

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
    • Proven experience (7+ years) in sales leadership within the IVD or medical devices industry, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
    • In-depth knowledge of the IVD market, including trends, regulatory environments, and key competitors.
    • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing sales team.
    • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable sales strategies.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport with customers and stakeholders.
    • Willingness to travel extensively to meet with customers, attend industry events, and lead sales initiative
