We are seeking a dynamic Retail Operations Manager – one who understands how retail supply chain and in-store operations work, is able to self-start to address problems quickly, and takes a data-driven approach to prioritization and execution. This role will require strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to both set strategy and drive execution. We’re looking for someone who can help us build our retail operations.
What you’ll do
- 3PL Management:
- Own all 3PL operations for Retail accounts including creating standard operating procedures for each retailer, order processing lead times, , issues escalation for critical issues (missed ship dates, late deliveries, etc) and ensuring all Retailer criteria are met for each order.
- Order fulfillment:
- Partner with the Sales team, retailers, 3PL, Operations and external counterparts to meet retailers’ requirements..
- Order Tracking:
- Lead Order tracking including ensuring PO’s are accurately tracked, processed, and invoiced.
- Post-Sales Management and Analysis:
- Lead dispute resolution process for any shipment penalties, order errors or other fees assigned by the retailer. This will include researching any needed documentation with the 3PL to submit through the retailer portal.
- Manage retail operations within relevant channels/retailers using standard processes and data-driven insights, measuring ROI to optimize investments.
- Inventory Management:
- Partner with the Sales team and Operations team to ensure we’re building enough inventory at the right time to meet all retail channels’ demand forecasts. If we’re growing too quickly, partner with Finance, Operations, and Sales to make allocation decisions. We won’t always meet demand but providing clear, reliable analyses is critical for this role.
- Leadership:
- Serve as the go-to expert for retail operations for sales teams and partners for day-to-day issues and inputs for forecasting, product availability, shipping, and 3PL operations related to their channel/retailer
- Process building: Create SOPs for each retailer in collaborations with Sales and Supply team to manage demand and relay forecasting information
- Process improvement: Identify gaps in current operational practices and collaborate with internal and external partners to create strategic roadmaps for progress.
- Support any Ad-Hoc internal supply chain initiatives back with the Customer to ensure all KPI’s are still being met throughout any change or new implementations.
- Serve as the liaison between external operations teams and internal supply chain partners to drive improvements based on customer needs.
- Manage retail associates and analysts as necessary
- Reporting:
- Develop and maintain reporting and scorecarding linked to operational success metrics and KPIs.

Requirements
- 4-5 years of experience in retail sales, retail operations, or supply chain management, with exposure to SCM Systems.
- Experience in a high growth, autonomous environment.
- Strong understanding and/or experience with Best Buy, Costco, Target, and Walmart /Sam’s tools and resources.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes such as forecasting and replenishment, financial planning, store operations, inventory management, order management, and distribution & logistics.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to organize, communicate, and lead multiple initiatives and team members.
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and generating operational insights.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and manage complex tasks simultaneously.
- Nice to have: Experience in selling and negotiating within a retail and CPG environment.

For Colorado-based candidates, the range being offered for this role is $100-$130K based on experience and for California-based candidates, the range being offered for this role is $100-$130Kbased on experience.
