Senior Back-End Developer

We are seeking a Senior Back-End Developer with a robust background in building modern, scalable back-end systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in back-end development, with a strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and database management.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Management: Design, implement, and maintain robust database systems. Ensure data consistency, integrity, and security. Optimize database performance and manage data migration and backup tasks.
• API Development: Develop and maintain high-performance APIs that integrate with front-end applications and third-party services. Document API functionality and manage version control.
• Server-Side Logic: Write clean, scalable, and efficient code. Manage data exchange between servers and users, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and implement timely solutions.
• Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with front-end developers, data scientists, and product managers to meet technical requirements. Mentor junior developers and advocate for best practices in back-end development.

Technical Skills Required:

• JavaScript/TypeScript: Extensive experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Next.js and React.js.
• Python: Strong capabilities in Python for various back-end functions.
• Database Technologies: Proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL databases, with a solid understanding of database design and management.
• Additional Technologies: In-depth knowledge of TRPC, RESTful web services, and cloud platforms like AWS (S3, ECS, EC2). Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, and familiarity with Clerk integrations and automated testing (Jest, Playwright).

Qualifications and Experience:

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years in back-end development, preferably in a senior role.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AI/ML Knowledge: Familiarity with AI and ML applications in back-end systems is a plus.
