Betterpay talent solutions is a global recruiting company, we currently support our client to find a good candidate for senior legal manager in USA. This company is a prominent mobile game development company recognized for creating captivating mobile games. With a track record of launching three well-known products that have attracted over 20 million players worldwide, they have established a strong global presence. The offices are located in Singapore and Beijing, and we have recently opened a new office in California, US.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing support and legal advice in relation to North American corporate matters
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiation of contracts related to the company’s business
- Contract review and management
- Liaising with external counsels and advisors
- Providing legal advice on matters relating to intellectual property rights, data protection, general commercial and contract law matters and dispute resolution
- Conducting legal research and preparing memorandum or legal analysis for internal stakeholders
- Providing day-to-day legal support to the management and other teams in the company, such as marketing, development and tech team
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school
- California bar membership in good standing
- 3-5 years of corporate legal and regulatory experience, preferably with a combination of law firm and in-house experience
- Familiar with corporate law, commercial transactions, compliance
- Prior experience in the technology field will be a plus
- Familiarity with IP, data compliance or consumer protection will be a plus
- Keen interest and good understanding of developments in the internet, technology-related space
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills
- Proactive approach and ability to handle matters independently
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills, ability to collaborate within a team
- Fluency in spoken and written English and proficient command of Chinese to communicate with various regional stakeholders.
