About the role
As our Senior Product Designer, you'll leverage your expertise to collaborate with cross-functional teams, steering the creation, validation, and launch of product ideas. In partnership with Product and Engineering, you'll act as a product owner, contributing to process enhancements across the entire product development lifecycle. We're seeking a candidate experienced in influencing key performance indicators and driving metrics forward.
Reporting to the Head of Product, you will:
- Rigorously validate ideas and solutions by talking to customers
- Build simple, intuitive product experiences that solve deep customer pains
- Help drive the product roadmap with customer insights and a cohesive strategy
- Work collaboratively with Product and Engineering partners from concept through completion and future iterations
- Own the end-to-end design (interaction, visual, etc.) across multiple features and projects
- Build a cohesive visual language across our products
- Work with the engineering team to implement the design, adjusting scope as needed to ship on time
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in end-to-end consumer-facing mobile-first product design.
- A portfolio of work that demonstrates a breadth of visual and interaction design skills and a proven impact on business metrics
- Humble, collaborative, and service-oriented approach to your career
- Scrappiness, a growth mindset, high-velocity output, and bias for action
- Passion for connecting people and facilitating meaningful relationships through products
- Demonstrated use of user research and data in your product design portfolio
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering 0-1 products from concept to launch
- Background in consumer subscription apps
- Experience with software design incorporating hardware components
- General e-commerce design experience
- Leadership in product direction and strategic thinking
