The Team
The Ad Product Team enhances user engagement by seamlessly integrating relevant advertisements into the news reading experience. They help businesses connect with their ideal audience, fostering a mutually beneficial relationship between users and advertisers.
The Role
As a Senior Product Manager, you will drive impactful product changes by developing and executing a focused ads strategy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate strategy into successful features, make key decisions on prioritization, and lead teams to deliver results. Additionally, you will manage the product lifecycle to ensure the seamless integration of ads into the overall user experience.
Here's what you'll do!
- Ship positive product change to customers
- Build ads strategy as part of overarching product strategy
- Translate the ads strategy to executions, working with cross functional partners
- Make hard decisions to prioritize, pivot, and cancel initiatives
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver products
- Manage the product life cycle
Requirements
Minimum requirements
- 8+ years of product management or equivalent experience. 3 years within AdTech
- Proven experience working on large cross-functional initiatives
- Strong understanding of digital advertising and consumer privacy best practices
- Experience of navigating through a successful full product lifecycle
- Attention to details while keeping the big picture
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to have experiences/skillsets
- Technical degree (computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, economics or related field)
- Experience with building 1st party ads products (search, native or display)
- Proven track record of building ML solutions
- Proficiency in Japanese language is highly valued
