Senior Manager, Services Vertical

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and specialized product manager to drive to drive the growth of Alba’s Mesur.io Forced Labor Intelligence product. The product manager will play a pivotal role in refining our partnership strategy, optimizing resale dynamics, establishing transparent pricing mechanisms, and implementing effective marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Strategy Enhancement
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to clarify roles and responsibilities within the Mesur.io partnership, particularly in terms of resale dynamics and partnership scope.
- Review and renegotiate profit-sharing terms with Mesur.io to ensure alignment with business objectives and market conditions.
- Define strategies to expand the partnership scope, including the potential for resale to channel partners and handling non-Alba customers' shipments and data through Mesur.io.
Pricing Strategy Development
- Conduct market analysis to identify pricing gaps and opportunities, especially for lower-middle market importers.
- Formulate transparent pricing strategies tailored to different market segments, considering factors such as market positioning and service charges.
- Develop pricing mechanisms that balance profitability with affordability for customers while addressing Alba and Mesur.io's upfront costs.
Marketing Plan Development
- Develop a simplified, high-level marketing message for Alba Mesur.io to effectively communicate its offerings to target audiences, particularly Importers.
- Design a comprehensive marketing plan that highlights Alba Mesur.io's advantages in addressing customs seizures, brand protection, ESG initiatives, and its use by CBP.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency and high-level focus in messaging and outreach efforts.
The position can be located in LA or NY
Salary is 135-150k range
Requirements
Qualifications
- 7-10 years of proven track record of success in business development, partnership management, and strategic consulting.
- Extensive experience in sales and technology implementation, preferably in the IT startup or international market operations sector.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct market research and analysis to drive strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and experience in reviewing and renegotiating partnership agreements and pricing structures.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
