We are looking for a killer Senior Paid Search Manager who has an in-depth knowledge of the SEM and PPC landscape. This position will be the go-to person on all things search related and will manage the day-to-day search marketing activities across multiple search engines (Google, Bing and Apple )including Paid Search Strategy, Tactical Planning , campaign planning, implementation, budget management, performance review, and optimization of paid search campaigns. The Senior SEM/PPC Manager will be up-to-date with all emerging trends and stay current with new advances in the field.
Requirements
- Lead and own the day-to-day management of search team workflow and oversight of search recommendations, execution details, budgets/accounting, and performance. You will provide stewardship, advising on all Paid Search matters falling within the scope of our engagement.
- Responsible for day-to-day SEM, SEO and PPC strategy, management, budgets, and optimizations in support of client goals and innovations recommended to clients.
- Daily use of reporting, analytics, and trend tools, including but not limited to Google Adwords, Bing, Doubleclick, Skai and possibly Kenshoo, and Marin.
- Study and understand the client’s product, marketing objectives and digital goals with an emphasis on paid search, ensuring your recommendations are insightful and consistent.
- Become a part of our clients’ marketing teams - manage day to day communication with clients including best practices, presentation decks and assisting with strategy and organic plans.
- Develop strong working relationships with vendors to stay up to date on new ad offerings and test opportunities.
- Proactively research campaign issues and formulate actionable solutions. Identify the variables that can be optimized and execute optimization.
- Prepare/present campaign reporting including evolution of all KPIs like media spent, engagements, and granular analysis.
- Serve as the contact point for questions related to the campaign from client or other agencies involved in the weekly execution.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in SEM, SEO and PPC in an agency environment with focus on team leadership and management.
- Train, motivate & develop Senior Associates and Associates, performing as a leader with minimal supervision. A key result will be developing talent. We need you to elevate the practice by developing your own team members to be strategic about the role of paid search in the media mix.
- Keep senior management apprised of key client opportunities, potential risks and other key nuances which affect the health of the business.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience managing paid search campaigns across multiple platforms, with a focus on Google Ads, Bing, SA360.
- Ability to think strategically and identify and resolve problems in a client-centric environment.
- Ability to nurture and retain client relationships & understand how Paid Search can feed into wider business goals.
- Strong managerial experience, including experience developing and mentoring a team.
- Experience of collaborating with senior level stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, and a flair for storytelling.
- Strong client-facing presentation skills and demonstrated client relationships.
