Position Overview: As a Senior Statistical Analyst, you'll play a critical role in conducting advanced statistical analysis to extract actionable insights from data and support decision-making across the organization. Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Conduct exploratory data analysis to understand data distributions, identify patterns, and detect anomalies, using statistical techniques and visualization tools.
- Statistical Modeling: Develop and implement statistical models to analyze trends, forecast future outcomes, and identify relationships between variables, using techniques such as regression analysis, time series analysis, and multivariate analysis.
- Hypothesis Testing: Design and execute hypothesis tests to evaluate the significance of relationships and differences in data, using appropriate statistical tests and methods.
- Data Visualization: Create clear and compelling visualizations to communicate analysis results and insights to stakeholders, using tools such as R, Python, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Reporting: Prepare and present analysis findings, insights, and recommendations in clear and concise reports, presentations, and dashboards, tailored to the needs of different stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and software developers, to understand requirements and deliver statistical analysis solutions that meet business needs.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and validity of analysis results by conducting thorough data validation and verification, and implementing quality assurance best practices.
- Documentation: Document analysis methodologies, assumptions, and findings in clear and concise documentation, ensuring transparency and reproducibility of results.
- Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in statistical analysis and data analytics, and continuously seek opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Mentorship: Mentor and coach junior analysts, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for skill development and career growth, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in statistical analysis, with a focus on conducting advanced statistical modeling and analysis to support decision-making.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and programming languages such as R, Python, SAS, or SPSS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in hypothesis testing, regression analysis, time series analysis, and multivariate analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or ggplot2.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently, with a passion for delivering high-quality analysis that drives business value.
