Senior Wafer Cleaning Technician

As a senior process engineering technician, you will have the following responsibilities

• Serve as the primary operator for SiC wafer cleaning equipment to fill customer orders and support engineering experiments
• Conduct hands-on experiments to optimize performance, cost, and throughput of wet bench and brush-based cleaning processes
• Document standard operating procedures and preventative maintenance procedures 
• Work with the engineering team to determine process recipes and tool operating conditions in order to fulfill customer orders
• Respond to customer feedback and identify opportunities for quality improvement
• Develop a thorough understanding of a SiC wafer cleaning technology in order to effectively troubleshoot issues that come up
• Ensure a safe work environment by maintaining tool health and actively identifying any chemical safety hazards
• Work creatively and cross-functionally with other teams at Halo make process improvements
• Analyze metrology data from defect and particle measurement tools in order ensure process is running properly
• Collect, summarize and present results to other team members

Requirements

Preferred Education & Experience

• The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of hands-on experience running wafer cleaning equipment, ideally wet benches. Candidates with higher levels of experience are also welcome to apply as well.
