Job Description:
As a Sound Engineer, you will be integral to our team, responsible for creating, capturing, and manipulating sound elements for our gaming and film projects. Your expertise will bring depth and realism to our virtual worlds, enhancing the overall experience. Collaborating with various departments, you will ensure that the sound design aligns with the artistic vision and technical requirements of each project.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Sound Design and Editing: Create and edit sound effects, ambient sounds, and other audio elements to enrich the gaming and film environments.
- Recording and Mixing: Manage recording sessions for voiceovers and sound effects, and mix audio tracks to achieve optimal sound quality.
- AI Integration: Utilize www.evertide.ai's AI tools to innovate and enhance sound production processes.
- Audio Implementation: Work with the development team to implement audio into Unreal Engine, ensuring synchronization and proper integration.
- Quality Control: Monitor audio quality throughout the development process, making adjustments as necessary to maintain high standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sound engineering, with a strong portfolio demonstrating skills in sound design, recording, and mixing.
- Familiarity with digital audio workstations and audio editing software.
- Experience or interest in AI technologies, particularly in relation to sound production.
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail in audio production.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
