Full Job Description
360 Degree Therapy is currently seeking a Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for providing specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs. You will work closely with students, parents, and other professionals to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Your role will involve adapting the curriculum, developing lesson plans, and utilizing various teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student. Additionally, you will assess student progress, provide guidance and support, and collaborate with other members of the education team to ensure comprehensive and effective educational programs are in place.
We are currently looking to hire Certified Special Education Teachers near Gilroy, CA.* These are full-time positions for the school year 2024-2025. The ideal candidate will possess previous experience as a Special Education Teacher for a middle school math teaching position.
Candidate must have current CA State SPED Teaching Credentials.

Requirements
To be considered for the position of Special Education Teacher, you must have: - A bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field - A valid teaching certification in Special Education - In-depth knowledge of special education laws and regulations - Experience in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) - Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills - Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with special needs - The ability to adapt instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students - Familiarity with assistive technology and other educational tools for students with special needs - Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher is preferred - Strong organization and time management skills - The ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment - A commitment to ongoing professional development - Demonstrated professionalism and a dedication to maintaining confidentiality - Residency in the local area is preferred, but not required
Qualification and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher in the field of Special Education from an accredited university program.
- Valid CA Education Specialist Instruction Credential.
- SPED Teaching Credentials
