Full Job Description
As the Sr. Manager of Product Management, you'll spearhead the comprehensive strategy for our laboratory information system product line, defining roadmaps, analyzing markets, and identifying key opportunities while leading a cross-functional team in product design and launch. Conducting meticulous market research, you'll discern emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to make data-driven decisions for product enhancements. Collaboration is key as you work closely with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment on goals and strategies across engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support teams. Monitoring product performance metrics and overseeing optimization strategies, you'll identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within the product management team through strong leadership and mentorship.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for our laboratory information system product line, including defining the product roadmap, identifying market opportunities, and conducting competitive analysis.
- Lead a cross-functional team in the design, development, and launch of new laboratory information system products, ensuring they meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the laboratory information system healthcare space. Use this information to make data-driven decisions and recommendations for product enhancements and improvements.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support teams, to ensure effective communication and alignment on product goals, timelines, and strategies.
- Monitor the performance of laboratory information system products in the market, tracking key metrics such as sales, customer satisfaction, and product utilization. Use this data to identify areas for improvement and implement optimization strategies.
- Participate in national, regional and local events that position CCI to be recognized as a leader in the use of information technology, including tradeshows and user group meetings
- Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the laboratory information system product management team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in laboratory operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Proven track record of driving innovation and process improvement in laboratory operations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Proven experience in product management within the healthcare or medical technology industry, specifically in laboratory information system care.
- Strong understanding of laboratory information system healthcare workflows, regulatory requirements, market dynamics, and customer needs.
Salary Range: 186K to 198K
