The Team
We are seeking a Studio Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing general studio maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the studio remains in excellent condition. This includes troubleshooting and fixing issues related to general building maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be proactive in identifying potential problems, and have a strong commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
The Role
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with studio fixtures and facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of the studio to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of studio equipment and furniture for recording sessions and events.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from studio staff and clients.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies and tools.
The Ideal Candidate
- A passion for maintaining high standards of building safety and efficiency.
- An understanding of various building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience in performing maintenance tasks in a studio or similar environment, with a familiarity with studio equipment and audio-visual systems being a plus.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment and facilities issues.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining records and communication.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications is a plus.
