Full Job Description
Our client, a Food Company has an immediate need of a Supply Chain Manager. This position is in Industry City, California but can be remote.
In the role as Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for oversight of all direct material purchases and coordination of on-time deliveries, supply chain transactional execution and monitoring of the day-to-day ERP Supply Chain.
This position requires a lot of coordination with Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, Production and Planning.
Responsibilities
- Execute the demand plan.
- Perform quarterly RFQ’s and RFPs for material needs to ensure maximum savings.
- Analyze raw material inventory levels.
- Work with Scheduling team to adjust production schedule as needed.
- Address delays /late deliveries and impact on the supply chain.
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in supply chain or any equivalent Degree
- 5-8 years’ experience in supply chain planning experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
- Strong analytical, organizational, decision making skills
- Strong verbal and writing presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential
- Ability to make, and explain, recommendations
- Strong Analytical skills and enjoys investigation and solving problems
- Strong MRP skills
