Job Description
We are currently seeking an individual who is excited about denim and is looking to learn and grow with us as we continue to succeed in our field! This position is an amazing opportunity for someone to further hone their skills in design with a key focus on denim.
The ideal candidate is one who is hungry to learn and is eager to build their skills in fashion design.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Oversee all aspects of technical design for every collection and develop a fit comment document for all garment components, including fit, fabric, construction, stitch, and trim
- Measure garments accurately to identify any fit issues and execute fit comments efficiently to remain on schedule
- Participate in fit sessions, provide recommendations, note call-outs, and log critiques to accurately and efficiently address all issues
- Create and maintain detailed tech packs, including flat sketches, measurement specifications, and construction details for denim products.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, production, and quality control, to address technical challenges and facilitate the smooth transition from design to production.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to communicate technical requirements, resolve issues, and ensure the timely and accurate production of denim products.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years of experience in technical design, with a focus on denim.
- Efficient in: MS office & Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat and/or Adobe Photoshop
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and sewing techniques, particularly in the denim category.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and precision.
- Must be able to build relationships with effective communication throughout the company
- Knowledge of sustainable practices in denim manufacturing is a plus.
