Elve delivers a transformative approach to the design and manufacturing of high-efficiency lightweight millimeter-wave and near-THz RF power amplifiers in large quantities. Our solutions enable the next generation of wireless connectivity well beyond 5G as well as high-resolution imaging and radar. We are looking for Automation Engineers to play a role in bringing our technology to market. Description
Design, develop, and execute software to characterize, validate, and process hardware systems and ensure product reliability
Collaborate with test engineers, product managers, and leadership teams to identify test requirements and improve overall testing processes
Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed reports on hardware performance
Continuously maintain and update test automation frameworks to align with evolving product features and technologies
Work Environment

Requirements
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in Python and common libraries (numpy, pandas, etc)
- Experience with software development practices (version control, unit testing, etc.)
- Experience interfacing with hardware components (sensors, microcontrollers, etc.)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, particularly with hardware-software integration
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Excitement to learn
- Experience working in a team environment
- Be able to multitask
- Self-motivated
- Within a commutable distance of Davis, CA
- To conform to U.S. Government technology export regulations, including Export Administration Regulations (EAR), to work in this role you must be one of the following: a U.S. citizen, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3),, or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. Nice to Have
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for data management and processing
- Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and multimeters
- Some understanding of RF and mm-wave applications
- Experience with manufacturing automation
