Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join our team. As a member of our testing team, you will be responsible for destructive and nondestructive testing on camera and video systems. As a Test Engineer, you will be testing and validating cameras and video systems under extreme conditions. Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans and procedures for Vibration, TVAC, Thermal Cycling, EMI/EMC, and Radiation Testing in accordance with project requirements
- Design and implement test setups and fixtures for all test cases in collaboration with mechanical and electrical engineering teams
- Perform pre-test inspection to ensure accuracy and reliability. Re-iterate test results into designs with the mechanical team
- Collaborate with the mechanical, software, electrical and manufacturing teams to address any issues
Qualification:
- Prior experience in testing and validation of components or integrated systems. Particular interest in experience with vibration/shock, TVAC, thermal cycling.
- 1-5 years of experience as a Test Engineer in the aerospace and or space industry
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations governing the test and verification of spacecraft systems
- 25% travel included in this position
- Ability to work independently with no supervision and manage multiple tasks concurrently
