Full Job Description

Our esteemed estate planning law firm client is in search of a Trust & Estates Paralegal with at least 3 years of professional experience to join their new office in Newport Beach, CA. As their firm expands, they're are actively seeking a dedicated full-time paralegal to thrive in a collaborative setting, presenting opportunities for career advancement and engaging challenges. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare probate pleadings, federal estate tax returns, trust/estate accountings, and funding calculations
  2. Manage trust administration, probate, and conservatorships
  3. Draft initial versions of trusts, petitions, proposed orders, declarations, and supplements
  4. File court documents, including e-filing
  5. Coordinate court appearances and organize case files for hearings
  6. Act as a liaison with clients, law firms, trustees, settlement brokers, financial advisors, bond companies, court clerks, and other stakeholders

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in trust & estates law or a related field
  • Full-time office availability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Actionstep is a plus!
