Typist

Direct Counsel is looking for a Typist for a temporary four day project based in Orange County, CA. Ideal Typists hired must be dependable, highly skilled, and able to convey a sense of confidence and assuredness in dealing with the applicant to which assigned. Typists with experience as a court reporter, legal secretary, legal assistant, paralegal, or familiarity with legal terminology are highly preferred. In addition, ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:

Equipment: We will provide a personal computer with Microsoft Word for Windows.

Requirements

Typing Speed Required: At least 70 WPM, typing verbatim, without the use of dictionaries or other references for assistance; familiarity with legal terms preferred.
