Company Description

Amprius develops, designs, and manufactures very high-performance lithium-ion cells for advanced applications. Amprius invented and perfected a 100% silicon anode that enables the highest energy density cell commercially available in the industry.

Summary

Warehouse Associate will handle, move/store, pack & ship, various non-hazardous and hazardous materials. Duties will include loading and unloading shipments, recording shipment and inventory statuses, and making sure the deliveries properly match purchase orders. This is a part-time, on-call role.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare shipment trays and package them according to instructions. This includes collaborating with internal team members.   
• Labeling every shipment and placing them accordingly
• Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Keeping a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory.
• Organize and maintain the work environment and implement 6S
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience working in a warehouse setting.
• Experience in record keeping, data entry, and stock management using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and pay close attention to details.
• Basic computer skills

Physical Demands & Work Location:

• Fremont, CA: This is an on-site job. Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required.
• Adhere to the company’s quality and safety requirements.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
• May be required to stand, sit, squat, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, reach, lift, balance, push, and pull.
• May need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, a lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, respirator and safety shoes.

Work Schedule

• Work hours between Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
• On-call up to 24 hours a week
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends to coordinate timely shipping of orders
