Full Job Description
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving and staging inventory, as well as maintaining an organized warehouse. The Warehouse Associate coordinates inventory movement with the production, bottling coordinators, and operations managers. The Warehouse Associate is a self-starting role that requires critical thinking and organizational skills.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Collaborate and communicate with logistics, accounting, production bottling, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products and goods.
- Forklift operation is composed of 40-60% of daily duties receiving inventory for production bottling and transferring newly finished product from the bottling line to the storage site.
- Generate Bills of Lading and maintain and organize the proper documentation for each shipment including filing FDA paperwork.
- Assist with quality assurance and record keeping.
- Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain accurate log of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
- Safely manage staging of delivery trucks when entering and leaving loading dock.
- Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
- Promptly unload trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables.
- Verify loads are secure prior to truck’s departure.
- Maintain a report of bottling supplies inventory count that is updated once a week.
- Assist with setting up workstations for special projects in the warehouse.
- Perform equipment checks and basic maintenance of forklifts.
- Organize and maintains a clean warehouse space.
- Provide additional support for production and logistics teams.
- Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.
- Crosstrain throughout logistical operations department.
- Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 6+ months logistics, retail, or customer service experience required
- Current Forklift Certification required
- Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment is preferred
- Experience as a forklift operator
- Valid certification to operate forklifts
- Ability to hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
- Ability to lift or move heavy products
- Ability to speak Spanish a plus
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable learning other data base tracking system

Working Conditions
- Regular shift is 7am-5pm in Paso Robles
- Regular working schedule to include weekdays. Some weekends, holidays, and evenings may be scheduled during peak periods.
- Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
Compensation range for this role is $22-25/hr.
