We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and metal fabrication, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. This role involves working with various metals to fabricate and repair components used in a variety of applications.
Rate: $24.00 - $40.00
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Perform Welding Tasks: Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions using various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Fabrication Work: Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and product specifications to accurately fabricate metal components.
- Quality Control: Inspect welds and fabricated parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintenance: Maintain welding and fabrication equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and performing routine maintenance as required.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each task.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
- Skills: Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of welding principles and metal properties.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Physical Ability: Capability to lift heavy objects and work in various positions, including standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Certifications: Additional certifications in specialized welding techniques or materials.
- Technical Skills: Experience with CNC machines or other advanced fabrication equipment.
- Education: Technical degree or diploma in welding, metal fabrication, or a related field.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with CAD software for designing and modifying fabrication projects.
- Certifications: AWS (American Welding Society) certification or equivalent.
