Optimal Home Care is currently seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support to our healthcare agency.
At Optimal Home Care, we are dedicated to providing exceptional home health care services to our clients. Our agency is Medicare and Medicaid certified, as well as CHAP Accredited, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards in the industry. With a focus on skilled nursing, behavior health nursing, physical/occupational/speech therapy, medical social work, and home health aide services, we strive to deliver quality care to improve our clients' lives.
As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating communication between healthcare professionals, clients, and other team members. Your efficient organizational skills and attention to detail will contribute to the smooth operation of our agency.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Assist in the preparation of documents and reports.
- Maintain accurate records and files.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Assist in coordinating communication between healthcare professionals, clients, and other team members.
- Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies, organizing files, and maintaining office cleanliness.
- Provide support to other staff members as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
