Full Job Description
Auria is looking to hire a Chief Engineering Architect to join our Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program. This position is based in Colorado Springs, CO.
The C2BMC-Global Lead Architect oversees all software and system architectural decisions and design quality. The position is expected to be able to focus on execution, support proposal development, shape business efforts, and contribute to the technology roadmap for the C2BMC enterprise. The C2BMC-G architect works with the Chief Architect's office to synergize patterns and design approaches with the rest of the C2BMC enterprise. The C2BMC-G architect may also need to fulfill the role of C2BMC Deputy Architect to support C2BMC enterprise design/development and design quality.
Essential Functions:
- Familiarity or experience with the Missile Defense Agency.
- Familiarity or experience with the Command Control Battle Management and Communications program.
- Familiarity or experience with the Space Domain, Space Force, US Space Command, or the National Space Defense Center.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership in large forums and moderate small forum deep technical sessions.
- Familiarity with the cyber, platform, and network architecture technologies, dependencies, and design drivers.
- Travel to and from Schriever Space Force Base is expected an average of 2 days per week.
Basic Qualifications:

- An active TS/SCI clearance is required to start. TS clearance with an investigation or CV date within 5 years is needed.
- 14 years with a Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field; 18 years experience in lieu of a degree or 12 years with a Master’s degree in a related field.
- Must have demonstrated experience designing large command and control and/or weapon systems.
- Must possess demonstrated experience driving large multi-site software development efforts, including external interfaces, real-time processing, persistence, and distributed user community.
- Must possess experience executing under Federal Acquisition Regulations, including Proposals, Negotiations, Operational Concepts, Requirements, Standards Compliance, Design, Implementation, and Selloff.
- Demonstrated experience conducting or leading Analysis of Alternatives, Trade Studies, and/or Design Evaluations.
- Demonstrated experience managing mathematically complex algorithm development efforts.
Salary Range: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level ($176,000 - $195,000).
