Navarro Research and Engineering is recruiting a Database Manager for Commerce City, CO.

This position is full time on the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife refuge under the Navarro Environmental Remediation Services contract with the United States Army.
Provide records management, including adding data and reports to the Digital Document Management System (DDMS), including the RMA Site Record. Functions shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Identify, gather, organize, and maintain documents and other pertinent information.
- Organize, maintain, and dispose records as necessary
- Provide for long-term access and preservation of records.
- Maintain electronic repository of administrative record documents, remediation/site files, and other site data collection.
- Process all site record correspondence.
- Coordinate and track receipt/transmittal of incoming/outgoing correspondence.
- Maintain files of original correspondence.
- Locate, compile, and review documents in support of litigation requests.
- Locate historical information as requested by RMA Staff.
- Provide support for Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests. This support shall include retrieval of records, preparation of correspondence, copying of records, maintenance of files and documents related to costs incurred in response to FOIA requests, annual summarization of FOIA responses and costs for required Congressional reporting, and verification of document filing.
- Coordinate courier services as required.
- Provide training as needed in using DDMS to applicable Army and/or Contractor personnel.
- Manage and update the RMA Environmental Database.
Provide technical and administrative assistance for general litigation support services in support of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, real property, water rights, and other legal actions. This assistance shall include research, writing, acquisition, screening, analysis, and organization of documents using computer data processing, document scanning/optical character recognition (OCR), and other technologies. Functions shall include the following:
- Review of relevant documents; organize documents; propose and develop screening criteria, key word indices, and coding strategies and procedures; check for duplicates either through screening or bibliographic cataloging, or both; or through automated or other means; extract information; perform bibliographic and/or textual cataloging, indexing, abstracting, and keyword coding; and code documents.
- Photocopy documents as required.
- Maintain information management system(s) for organizing and controlling document files and for summarizing issue-specific information contained in the documents.
- Provide for database use; provide user assistance; conduct database searching and retrieval; generate reports; and perform research, analyses, and syntheses.
- Reorganize document packages in response to various internal and external requests. Determine appropriate medium for response.
- Gather information from various sources; synthesize and summarize information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field is preferred
- Ability to complete work safely and comply with all aspects of site health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work and achieve results in a collaborative team environment and focus strongly on customer service.
- Ability to adapt and be flexible with changes that arise.
- Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills.

Annual Salary Range (based on full-time 40 hours per week)
$62,400 - $72,800
In accordance with the Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc (Navarro) salary determination process, Navarro takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities and the candidate’s education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. A candidate's salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.
