Encore Access is a small, rapidly growing company in the live events and entertainment space. We provide services to ensure our clients can access more than 120,000 live concerts, events, and theater productions nationwide. We are seeking a Director, Freelance Programs to join our team as the owner of our EncoreHive platform. This role is critical to our continued success as we scale up this exciting new service.
Role Summary:
As our Director, Freelance Programs, you will report to senior leadership and collaborate with the entire leadership team. This is a new role in our organization, and we are excited to work with you to craft the role into one that provides exciting and challenging opportunities for your career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Ownership: Oversee all aspects of our EncoreHive platform, including its marketing, brand, roadmap, management of a dedicated team of internal staff, and driving collaboration with our freelance partners.
- Contractor Engagement: Build and maintain engagement with existing freelance contractors, oversee workforce performance, and identify/develop/retain the highest-performing contributors.
- Lead Generation: Generate new contractor leads through digital marketing efforts, referral and affiliate programs, networking, and attending industry events.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and new opportunities.
- Strategic Development: Develop and implement strategies to achieve growth targets, including setting goals and milestones for the platform and its staff.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for workflow and efficiency gains, such as error reduction, process improvements, and collaboration with other teams across the business.
- Partnership Management: Explore and manage potential partnerships and alliances to expand market reach and create mutually beneficial opportunities.
Location:
Our headquarters is located in Historic Downtown Golden, Colorado, offering convenient access to a variety of amenities, including outdoor recreation, diverse restaurants and breweries, and a lively arts scene. While our team operates globally, we are seeking a local candidate for this position who can work from the office. Initially, the role will require significant in-office presence and close collaboration with the CEO. However, there will be an opportunity for hybrid work arrangements in the future.
Requirements
- Experience with managing a business unit, including all aspects of team and budget management.
- Proven background in scaling a product from its post-MVP release phase to a platform supporting hundreds or thousands of users.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication with colleagues at all organizational levels.
- Strong data-driven decision-making abilities, including setting growth goals and performance metrics for a business unit and its team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
