Director of Emergency Services

We are seeking a highly-skilled and experienced Director of Emergency Services to oversee the operations of our Emergency Department. As the Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, managing resources, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance department performance.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and inspire a team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care
• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve department efficiency, quality, and patient satisfaction
• Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure effective interdisciplinary communication and coordination
• Monitor and evaluate department performance metrics and implement process improvements as needed
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and staff
• Manage department budgets, including staffing, equipment, and supplies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (required)
• Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in emergency services (required)
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role (preferred)
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state (required)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (required)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
