Position Summary:
GOLFTEC is seeking a skilled EDI Coordinator with expertise in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to manage the order process for custom golf equipment and the setup of inventory items both for retail and e-commerce. This role requires a deep understanding of golf equipment, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in managing EDI processes to ensure seamless transactions and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain golf club database across all internal systems.
- Ensure precise club details are updated and maintained throughout the year as inventory levels change.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers on item set-up accuracy and custom orders.
- Implement and manage EDI processes for efficient ordering, invoicing, and inventory management.
- Liaise with vendors and distributors to streamline EDI transactions and resolve any issues promptly.
- Monitor EDI system performance and troubleshoot technical issues to maintain uninterrupted operations.
- Oversee the setup of product listings on ecommerce platforms.
- Ensure accurate product descriptions, images, and pricing are maintained.
- Coordinate with vendors on product availability
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with vendors to ensure timely updates on product availability.
- Monitor and communicate inventory levels to prevent supply chain disruptions through efficient electronic data interchange (EDI) processes.
- Provide oversight and communication to Manufacturers and GOLFTEC Coaches on equipment orders, exception resolution, and order delivery.
- Respond to inquiries regarding club EDI transactions, and order status with professionalism and expertise.
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through personalized service and efficient resolution of issues.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of EDI systems and processes, with hands-on experience in EDI implementation and management.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving across multiple departments both internal and external.
- In-depth knowledge of golf equipment, including club components, fitting techniques, and performance characteristics is a plus.
- Familiarity of golf club assembly, customization, or a similar role within the golf industry, a plus.
