Full Job Description
Resource Innovations is seeking an experienced and dynamic Energy Efficiency Engineer to join our team, focusing on working directly with customers to implement energy-efficient technologies in their buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, a passion for energy efficiency, and excellent customer service skills. As an engineer with Resource Innovations, you will support our work with Colorado energy efficiency programs.
You will assist commercial and industrial customers implement energy-saving projects (e.g. upgrades to the facility’s lighting, HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air, process equipment systems) by providing end-use customer account management, project identification, evaluation, and management services for utilities. You will work directly with account managers and their commercial and industrial customers to promote energy efficiency, drive participation, and maximize achieved energy savings to achieve program goals. The energy manager team collaborates with the engineering and business management teams to deliver of a complete suite of program services to our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide technical and administrative support to customers, and contractors.
- Customer Interaction: Work closely with customers to understand their energy needs and challenges. Build and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Energy Audits: Lead energy audits in collaboration with senior staff to identify areas for efficiency improvements.
- Custom Solutions Development: Design and develop customized energy-efficient solutions tailored to each customer's specific requirements.
- Implementation Support: Assist customers in implementing the recommended energy-efficient measures, ensuring effective execution and customer satisfaction.
- Project Management: Oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and solutions are implemented effectively.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including senior engineers, to deliver high-quality energy efficiency solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in building science, construction, engineering, or related technical discipline
- 3+ years of work experience identifying, selling, or engineering energy efficiency improvements and, demonstrated ability to calculate energy savings, return on investment, and payback for efficiency projects.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze mechanical and electrical systems for commercial and industrial facilities including HVAC, lighting, motors, compressed air, refrigeration.

The compensation range for this exempt position is $75,000 - $95,000. The stated range is based on a good faith estimate of the compensation range for the duties, responsibilities and skills / experience required for the position. Starting pay will be dependent on experience and internal equity. This provided range may exceed this range for well-qualified candidates, especially with industry experience
