Financial Representative

JOB DETAILS:

  • Job Type: Full-time (Entry Level)
  • No experience in the financial services industry necessary, robust mentorship program and licensing programs to ensure success and growth
  • Start as a Financial Representative with Northwestern Mutual with growth paths to become a Financial Advisor and Wealth Management Advisor
  • Unlimited income with commission-based pay structure (stipends and bonuses also available), bulk of revenue derived from insurance sales and investment management
  • Growth and management opportunities available after sustained success

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build a clientele for yourself by meeting new prospective clients
  • Assist clients with creating financial plans that include investment strategies, insurance planning, budgeting, retirement planning, estate planning, etc.
  • Manage investments for clients once you are investment licensed and appropriately contracted by Northwestern Mutual Investment Services and Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Company
  • Assist clients with insurance planning including: life insurance, disability insurance, long-term care insurance, key person insurance, etc.
  • Provide financial planning advice to your clients

QUALIFICATIONS AND DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES:

  • Education: Bachelor's (Preferred), need to be able to pass Life/Health exams and investment licenses within one year of starting career
  • Location: Western Slope, Colorado (District office located in Grand Junction, CO, but remote work allowed on the Western Slope)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: Enjoys autonomy and the ability to build success and a legacy from scratch
  • Drive to succeed: Willing to work long hours and go the extra mile to be successful
