Position Overview:
The Grants Coordinator helps with collating proposal materials, completing forms, maintaining proposal check list, maintaining grant files, assistance with tracking department metrics, doing basic research on the grant requirements, and coordinating the proposal process. The position’s primary role is to support the grant writers, ensuring proposal materials are organized and complete.
Requirements
Must Have Qualifications:
- 1+ Year of similar experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven ability to research and organize materials.
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Organization and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively; verbally and in writing
- Advanced level reading comprehension
- Proficient in M365 suite of products (MS Word, Excel, Teams etc.)
- Previous experience in renewable energy & energy efficiency
- Previous experience in proposal development or fundraising
- Pervious administrative experience for file and database management
- Previous experience with nonprofits
- Experience working with Remote Team
- Experience with Asana, Grants.gov, DOE Exchange, Salesforce, Sharepoint.
Location: Remote in the U.S.A.
Reports to: Grants Manager
Skill Level: Intermediate
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relate field or 3 years' experience in a similar position
Areas of Expertise: Proposal Coordination
Compensation: $20/hr DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and maintaining grant portals including, grants.gov, DOE Exchanges, cybergrants.
- Assisting with proposals by reviewing or filling out forms for grants
- Updating proposal checklists
- Developing templates for proposals
- Organizing and maintaining accuracy of Grants Teams SharePoint and Teams files
- Filling out Go-No-Go checklists for grant meetings.
- Assisting with tracking proposals through Salesforce data entry
- Assisting the Proposal Manager in submission of proposals including physically assembling and mailing proposals evelopment of case studies, blog posts, newsletter articles, presentation summaries etc. from existing content.
