Our mission is to provide compassionate consulting services to local, state, federal and industry clients, active in disaster response, recovery, and preparedness. We will be on time, on target, and on budget with the services aligned to the evolving threats and hazards facing our nation.
The PM Division Project Coordinator Intern will assist in coordinating and managing various projects within ACDC's Project Management Division. Interns will be involved in reporting development and distribution, data analysis, project management, and tracking capabilities. Additionally, interns will gain exposure to emergency management recovery operations and strategy, including project management processes, planning, public assistance, and grant management as opportunities arise. Each PM Division Project Coordinator Intern will have a specific work portfolio based on their skill sets and desired expertise.
The position will be guided by ACDC’s Corporate Values Platform in all activities.

Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities

- Reporting development and distribution.
- Data analysis and process mapping.
- Project management compliance and project tracking.
- Work on projects that have a direct impact on clients if available/needed.
- Interns will be given the opportunity for shadowing experiences and exposure to various divisions and projects as available.
- In limited circumstances, Interns may be asked to assist in matters related to research and development, project management/administration, or other corporate operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Experience and Education Required
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor degree program (or recently graduated within the past year) from a Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field program at an accredited university, college, or other educational facility.
- 0-2+ years’ beginner level knowledge/experience in project management principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel.
Experience and Education Preferred
- Study in business or project/program management.
- 1+ years of customer service-related experience.
- Skills in process improvement, innovation, and data.
- Current GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- 1 year of previous project management related internship, volunteering, or work experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities
The Internship position has no direct supervisory responsibility.
Expected Hours of Work
Schedule may vary and require work on evenings and weekends and dependability and punctuality are paramount.
Physical Demands
- Sitting or standing for hours at a time.
- Ability to work at a computer for prolonged periods of time if needed.
Work Environment
- The internship is considered 100% remote, or work from home.
Additional Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must pass company and any applicable client background check and reference check upon offer of employment.
- Eligibility to work in the United States is required.
