Actionstep is a pioneer in the development and sale of software-as-a-service (SaaS) products, specializing in the delivery of Legal Practice Management software. We are a fast growing, dynamic business with a global customer base of more the 30,000 and a team of over 180 in the USA, Australia, UK, Canada and New Zealand.
We are seeking an experienced IT Administrator to support our mostly remote workforce of 200 employees. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our staff has the technology resources and support needed to work effectively from home offices. This role acts as the point of escalation for IT-related technical issues.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
· Provide desktop support and troubleshoot hardware/software issues for employee laptops/desktops
· Manage employee email accounts and distribution lists in Office 365
· Administer and maintain Azure Active Directory for user authentication and access
· Create and manage Office 365 groups. Administer Teams and SharePoint sites.
· Serve as a front-line IT help desk, providing remote technical assistance via a ticketing system
· Monitor and respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner, escalating issues when needed
· Configure group policy, conditional access policies, SSO, and MDM systems such as Intune and Jamf
· Deploy security updates and patches for desktop/laptop systems
· Set up new employee laptop/desktop systems and provision required software/access
· Manage vendor relationships for IT services and equipment
· Develop and maintain IT documentation, policies and procedures
· Handle full employee onboarding process for new hires, setting up accounts/access
· Manage offboarding process for terminated employees, revoking access securely
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with all internal and external parties ensuring transparent, proactive and effective communication always.
- Attending and proactively contributing to internal meetings with the view to add value in a constructive manner.
Professional Development:
- Being a thought leader both within Actionstep but also in the wider industry.
- Staying abreast of industry best practice patterns, products and technologies and assisting in process improvement activities as required.
Continuous Improvement:
- Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of a strong department culture ensuring knowledge and experience is shared.
Health & Safety:
- Assume responsibility for your own and others safety and wellbeing, following all safety and wellbeing procedures and instructions, including reporting hazards, incidents and accidents and participating in safety and wellbeing initiatives and programmes as required.

Requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience as an IT Administrator or Desktop Support Specialist
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT Administration or a related field
· Extensive hands-on experience with MacOS, Windows 11, and the Office 365 suite
· Strong working knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint
· Expertise in remote desktop support and troubleshooting
· Experience with IT help desk ticketing systems
· Outstanding customer service skills with ability to explain technical issues clearly
· Self-motivated with excellent time management skills for a remote role
