Role Summary:

In this role, you’ll be supporting research and development operations. As a technician, you will be setting up equipment to perform experiments, writing technical process documents and making operations safer and more efficient. This is a full-time role located in our Denver, CO office in a fast-paced startup environment.

Compensation Range: $23-$27/hour (compensation is based on education, experience, skillset, and market value).

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Repairs, installs, and inspects electronics or electronic systems as directed through verbal or written communications, diagrams, drawings, or specifications
• Determines material or replacement needs and a logical method for repair; takes appropriate action to meet those needs and makes repairs
• Creates or adapts parts as needed to make repairs and improve the performance of various electronics
• Instructs employees regarding safe working procedures and requirements when working with electronic equipment and components
• Develops and maintains records related to electronic and electrical equipment

You’ll Need These Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent problem-solving ability
• Ability to follow complex directions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

• This position has no specific education requirements, though experience in some or all of the following areas is strongly preferred:
• Electronics/electrical maintenance or repair
• Working with power tools such as drills
• Physics, Chemistry or Electrical R&D lab
• Inventory management
• Technical writing
• Basic construction
• Experimental design
