Position Overview:
The Marketing Videographer will assist with all creative video needs of ICAST through planning, executing, and collaborating with the Marketing Coordinator. They will also be responsible for evaluating current video presence in the media and scheduling and monitoring video content to be published on social media. This position will work with our Marketing team and directly report to the Director of Marketing.
Requirements
Must Have Qualifications:
- Completed or working toward a college degree, preferably in a related field (e.g., English, Communications, Film/Video Production, Graphic Design, Visual Arts).
- A minimum of 1 year of experience creating, editing, and publishing online videos
- Knowledge of video production workflows (i.e., Adobe Creative Suite, Premiere, Final Cut Pro, AVID, etc.)
- Knowledge of the full Adobe Create Suite
- Must be computer literate (working knowledge of Office 365)
- Firm grasp of social media tools and platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or related experience in video production is a plus
- Course experience in video production/graphic design is desirable
- An effective communicator, both written and oral
- Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
- Interest in the mission of ICAST
Location: Remote in the U.S.A.
Travel: Limited travel may be required time to time based on the needs of the organization.
Reports to: Marketing Coordinator & Director of Marketing
Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Education: Possess or are working toward a degree in one of the following English, Communications, Film/Video Production, Graphic Design, Visual Arts
Areas of Expertise: Video Editing, Video Production, Photography, Visual Storytelling, Interviewing
Compensation: $20/hr, 16-20 hrs/week
Key Responsibilities:
- Fulfilling the creative video & multimedia needs of ICAST from planning through collaborative execution with the ICAST Marketing Team.
- Evaluating current video presence in the media and on the Web with the goal of providing constructive feedback for improvement.
- Monitoring video content published to social media to ensure brand adherence and quality.
Goals:
- Study past projects and brand guidelines to ensure alignment with the ICAST’s creative vision.
- Produce at least two videos during the first month (testimonial, training, etc.)
- Develop and pitch at least two new video content ideas within the first two months.
