You will play a crucial role in our team by providing in-depth product knowledge, technical expertise, and strategic sales support. This role requires a deep understanding of our products and the ability to effectively communicate their value to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will also own a revenue quota, work closely with the sales team, customers, and internal stakeholders to drive product sales, ensure successful product adoption, and achieve customer satisfaction. The quota will be updated on a quarterly basis, and your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate actuals and pipeline reporting, and working with the sales team to ensure that the targets are met in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revenue Generation: Own and meet or exceed the assigned revenue quota for the product line, contributing directly to the company's growth.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the designated territory or vertical.
- Product Expertise: Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our products and services, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical and product-related support throughout the sales process, including presentations, demonstrations, and responding to RFPs/RFIs.
- Customer Engagement: Engage with prospective and existing customers to understand their needs, answer questions, and address any concerns related to our products, and build deeper relationships.
- Solution Design: Work with customers to design tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements, leveraging our product offerings.
- Training and Education: Conduct product training sessions for internal sales teams, partners, and customers to ensure a thorough understanding of our products.
- Technical documentation: Authoring technical documentation and papers for internal and external use (blogs, white paper, user docs, integration guides, training materials)
- Market Feedback: Gather and relay feedback from customers and the market to the product development team to help shape future product enhancements.
- Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product management, and other internal teams to develop and deliver effective sales tools, collateral, and campaigns.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in customer facing roles of a technical capacity
- Defined, developed, deployed, and operated complex technology-driven products
- Versed in the latest product delivery and development processes
- Possesses people skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Has evangelism skills and leadership skills to influence change management
- Experience in managing B2B products and experience in software development is desirable
- Has a good understanding of public cloud technologies and containerized applications
- Has worked closely with engineering, business, operations, and user experience teams
Qualification: Bachelors in Engineering or Equivalent
