Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Solar Account Manager will be to spearhead the sale of solar equipment and installation services (with perhaps storage) to Multifamily affordable housing properties.
Requirements
Must Have Qualifications:
- Outside Business-to-Business Sales experience with a minimum of 3 year's selling into the Multifamily or Commercial Solar Market
- Knowledge of solar project development process
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of utility rebate programs, Federal & Local tax credits and incentives
- Experience selling Energy Storage
- Knowledge of Energy Financing options such as PPA, PACE, EPC, EaaS
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with M365 (MS Office, Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and Smartsheet PMS.
Location: Remote in the U.S.A.
Travel: 10%
Reports to: Director of Sales
Skill Level: Intermediate

Compensation: $75K + Unlimited Commission
Key Responsibilities:
- Networking with owners and managers of Multifamily Housing Properties regarding the sale of solar equipment and installation services
- Collecting property data to help ICAST Engineers develop proposals and estimates
- Tracking daily activities in Salesforce CRM
- Presenting to and closing contracts with Multifamily Customers
- Following up with clients to address concerns and resolve pending issues including requests for information
Goals:
- Build a pipeline of new projects worth $3M in 9 months
- Close current ICAST pipeline of projects within first 6 months
