Compensation: This role will be compensated with a base annual salary plus an annual bonus percentage
- Base Annual Range: $55,000-70,000

Job Summary:
GOLFTEC is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant is a key member of the accounting team reporting to the GOLFTEC Accounting Manager. Key responsibilities will be around expense accounting, cash accounting, and management of the Company’s receivables. Additional responsibilities include balance sheet account reconciliations, journal entry preparation, financial review & insights, and ad hoc tasks as required to support the greater corporate accounting team. This role is integral in supporting the accuracy of accounting transactions across the Company. The ideal candidate for this position is a professional individual with a positive team focused attitude, who has a strong attention to detail and is very organized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cash management including wires and bank reconciliations
- Complete management of the accounts receivable process
- Accurate recording of various expenses & expense management across the Company
- Perform Balance sheet account reconciliations and variance analysis on related accounts
- Prepare general ledger journal entries
- Support the creation, development and maintenance of standard operating procedures to help ensure that these procedures are consistently followed
- Ensure that work is done in accordance with various internal control and J-SOX requirements and appropriate documentation is maintained
- Build relationships and collaborate with other members of the finance team and key stakeholders in the business to ensure continuous improvement.
- Other duties and ad-hoc projects, as assigned.

Requirements

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related discipline - preferred
- 1-2 years accounting or related experience - preferred
