Tax Supervisor

Elite Sourcing LLC is working with a well-established accounting firm that is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Supervisor to join their team. As a Tax Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing tax compliance and advisory services, managing a team of tax professionals, and ensuring accurate and timely tax filings for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional looking to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact.

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing tax returns, providing guidance and training to junior tax staff, conducting tax research and planning, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate is someone who has a deep understanding of tax regulations and laws, has excellent communication and organizational skills, and is able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee tax compliance and advisory services for clients.
• Review and sign off on tax returns, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Provide guidance and training to junior tax staff.
• Conduct tax research and analysis to support client needs.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines.
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Assist with tax planning and strategy development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
• Experience managing and supervising a team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong proficiency in tax software and MS Excel.
