Pay Rate: $35.00+ per hour
Keywords is searching for a candidate to join the Future Customer Experience (FCE) team of an exciting consumer electronics company located in Fort Collins, CO.
- Understanding and implementing designs from technical drawings
- Interacting with contractors and customers using verbal and written communication
- Making presentations to clients and co workers
- Creating product documentation and records
- Inspecting electrical components during and after the product installation
- Testing electronics for problems and proposing solutions
- Lead a team of Test Technicians/Specialist’s to ensure quality testing of future products.
- Responsible for Test planning and execution, performing integration testing, performance testing, functional testing, regression testing, user interface testing.
- Experience and ability to build test plan and test cases from scratch, Document test results and procedures, including writing test reports and technical documentation.
- Stakeholder Management
- Performs testing tasks requiring strong analytical skills, interpretation of test cases and scripts, planning & scheduling of technical activities
- Design and configure test setups, fixtures, and instrumentation as required by the test plans
Requirements
- Electrical or Hardware Engineering degree is preferred; or EE degree with hardware experience
- Experience in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word etc..)
- Experience with optics, sensors, robotics, and board design
- Previous experience leading a team in a testing environment
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across multiple platforms
- Professional and clear written and verbal communication.
- Some coding experience (C++, Python, etc.)
- Advanced mathematical skills for calculation of design equations
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical specifics to peers and customers
- Writing skills for preparing manuals, parts lists, proposals and design documentation
- Focus and concentration to understand complex electrical systems
- Self-motivation to keep up with current electrical advances using new technologies
- Using industry-specific tools to analyze and test electronics (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, loads)
- Time-management skills for meeting deadlines
