Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join our team. As Assistant Finance Manager, you will report to the Finance Manager, fme US LLC. You will be responsible for financial reporting, accounting, bookkeeping, AP, AR, financial analysis, payroll back-up and implementation projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Finance Manager in achieving department goals.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with internal teams, as well as colleagues abroad on tasks and projects.
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting processes.
- Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties.
- Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Ensure compliance with ongoing financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow and liquidity.
- Assist in variance analysis and identifying areas for cost reduction and revenue improvement.
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations.
- Provide ADP Total Source payroll reports and process payroll as a back-up when necessary.
- Assist in the preparation of financial presentations and reports for senior management.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support as required.
- Travel twice annually to company’s annual meetings and workshops in the Northeast.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
· A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Finance or Accounting role.
· Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop REQUIRED.
· Proficiency in SAP Business by Design preferred.
· Proficiency in Excel required.
· Proficiency in MS Outlook, Teams, Word, PPT.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organization skills required.
· Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills required.
· The ability to work independently and part of a team is key in this role.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
