We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Generator Sales Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in driving sales of residential and light commercial generators. The Generator Sales Specialist will be responsible for a range of activities, including client interactions, estimating, and conducting on-site visits. This role requires a unique blend of sales acumen, technical knowledge, and customer-focused communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Identify and prospect potential clients in the residential and light commercial sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct thorough assessments to understand customers' power needs and requirements.
- Prepare accurate and competitive project estimates, considering both equipment and installation costs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create comprehensive proposals that meet client specifications.
- Stay updated on the latest generator technologies, industry trends, and regulations.
- Provide technical guidance to clients, helping them make informed decisions based on their power needs.
- Conduct on-site visits to assess project feasibility, address client concerns, and ensure accurate estimations.
- Collaborate with installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Proven experience in generator sales or a related field
- Strong knowledge of generators and power generation equipment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Goal-oriented mindset and ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong business acumen and understanding of sales techniques
