Full Job Description

Performance Optimal Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Gym General Manager to join our team. As the Gym General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the gym's operations, ensuring the highest level of customer service and promoting a supportive environment for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the gym, including staff management, facility maintenance, and customer service.
  • Ensure the gym is clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
  • Manage and develop a team of fitness professionals, providing leadership, training, and performance management.
  • Create and implement sales and marketing strategies to attract and retain clients.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, such as membership growth, revenue, and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and reporting.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services and programs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the fitness or wellness industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and profitability.
  • Strong understanding of gym operations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and staff.
  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
