Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join the team. In this role, you will be accountable for the daily core HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, compensation management and compliance. The successful candidate will have outstanding communication skills, solid attention to detail, be analytical, as well as the ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with the utmost professionalism and discretion.
Responsibilities:
Performs a full cycle of recruiting of sourcing, screening, setting up in-person interviews, performing background checks and issuing offer letters to all candidates.
Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, orientation, and exit interviews, including entering data into HR Information system and auditing for accuracy and compliance.
Maintain records of personnel-related data and ensure all employment requirements are met.
Handles internal inquiries and complaints from employees across various levels of the organization.
Assists with the company performance evaluation program; provides ongoing coaching and training to managers on evaluations and goal development.
Assists department leadership with the management and tracking of all employee’s disciplinary action; coaches, counsels, and guides managers before driving employee disciplinary actions.
Handles employee relations issues of intermediate complexity.
Assists in planning and execution of HR initiatives and projects.
Coordinates, supports, and explains company policies and philosophies; ensures consistent application of employee handbook and company policies.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Promote a positive and open work environment where employees feel comfortable speaking up about issues.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2-4 years of HR experience, related to Recruiting and Employee Relations
- Strong problem-solving skills, reporting, and analytical skills. Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, cultural awareness, and ability to establish relationships within all levels of the organization.
- Resourceful, problem-solving proficiency and knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- SHRM, PHR, or SPHR Certification or equivalent training and experience a plus.
- Knowledge of Federal &State employment laws, regulations & standard processes including, ADA/ADEA/FMLA/FLSA/Title VII/EPA/Investigations and Harassment, OFCCP, AAP/EEO-1
- Prior experience with HRIS systems, and Microsoft Office
- Experience managing workplace investigations & conflict resolution.
- Exceptional customer service focus.
- Ability to coach and counsel employees across all levels of the organization and the ability to establish positive relationships.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- History of being self-motivated and having strong, logical problem-solving skills.
- Exhibits a sense of ownership & accountability.
- Ability & Willingness to travel as needed (Roughly 15% travel on an annual basis)
