As a leader in the IT department and an employee responsible for organization-wide systems and information, the IT Manager role includes the following duties and responsibilities:
- Running regular checks on network and data security
- Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
- Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
- Managing, distributing and ensuring adherence to the IT policies already set forth and agreed upon by employees
- Sourcing and securing all employee devices via MDM
- Improving and developing processes to provision devices for employees
- Weekly verification and enforcement of IT policies through automated report verification and resolving any out-of-compliance issues directly with employees
- Designing training programs and workshops for staff
- Conducting regular system audits
- Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff
- Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects, including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
- Ensuring reliability, security, and speed of all Inbox Health internal networks as well as their external connectivity to the Internet/WAN
- Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget
- Scale, manage, mentor and coach IT team members as the company grows
- Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement
- Assist with the IT onboarding, offboarding and support of employees
- Network ACL management of internal networks, including how they interface to external networks and/or VPNs
- Maintain on-premise office Wi-Fi availability, configuration, and security
Requirements
Specific Responsibilities:
- Build, triage, and manage IT support requests (similar to Electric)
- Manage, delegate and/or fulfill software licensing requests (e.g. Bitwarden)
- Password reset requests
- Manage IT controls (via Vanta)
- Triage and implement a tactical strategy/approach to ensure automated tests in “IT” category are passing
- Manage office network and Wifi
- Manage employee licensing and company-level invoicing for enterprise software tools
Specific Skills
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Supporting internal teams.
- Advanced knowledge and capability to quickly learn Windows and MacOS business environments and configurations
- Familiarity with source control administration (for Git Ops) and best practices is preferred
- Basic scripting and programming knowledge is preferred (Powershell, Bash, and/or other dynamic languages)
- Understanding of Network OSI layer model and/or networking certifications is preferred
- Self-motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas to inspire client loyalty and adoption
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience building strong internal and external relationships
- Strong work ethic going above and beyond
- Consistent track record of highly-professional client success in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Benefits
Location: This office will be located and work out of our New Haven Office. This will be an in-person position with the expectation of being in the office 5 days per week.
Compensation: The annual base salary for this role is $65,000 - $95,000. This position is eligible for an annual bonus. The actual base pay within this range depends on many factors, such as education, skills and experience. Base pay is only one part of Inbox Health's competitive total compensation package which includes benefits, perks and equity. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
