Full Job Description
ACES, a leading company in the Education Management industry, is seeking a diligent and organized Payroll Clerk to join our team. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining and processing payroll records for our employees.
In this role, you will work closely with the HR department and other relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely payroll operations. Your attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion will be crucial. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong understanding of payroll regulations and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll data and ensure accuracy in employee records
- Calculate and distribute salaries, bonuses, commissions, and other payments
- Prepare payroll reports and reconcile discrepancies
- Assist in the implementation of payroll policies and procedures
- Stay updated on payroll regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws
- Collaborate with HR department to resolve any payroll-related issues or inquiries
- Maintain and update employee payroll records in a confidential manner
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar role
- Proficient in using payroll software and MS Office
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and best practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
