Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray

Seasoned Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily x-rays, on patients in accordance with established industry protocols and standards.

You will be responsible for properly positioning patients, operating imaging equipment, and obtaining high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists and physicians. In addition, you will ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process, providing clear instructions and addressing any concerns.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, knowledgeable in radiation safety, and familiar with radiology procedures. You should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform x-ray examinations and other diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns
• Position patients correctly and operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during the imaging process
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate accurate diagnoses
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols
• Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Assist with training and mentoring new staff members

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology program
• Licensure/certification as a Radiologic Technologist
• Knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and protocols
• Experience operating imaging equipment and obtaining high-quality images
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Flexibility to work various shifts and weekends as required
