About the Role
Are you an experienced Graphic Designer with a combination of creativity, passion, integrity, and technical skills who is looking to become part of a dynamic marketing team? If so, our fantastic creative team is growing and we have an opportunity that you should consider. As a Sr. Graphic Designer with Miranda Creative you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and effective designs that promote our clients' brands and help them achieve their marketing goals. You will work closely with the creative team to develop and execute designs for a variety of projects including print and digital advertisements, social media campaigns, website design, and branding materials.
We seek a colleague who is a true team player, is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, is effective at managing their time and multiple priorities, and has the desire to stay current with ever-changing design trends while sharing fresh ideas and new skill sets with our talented and supportive team.
This is a full-time, hybrid (combination remote and in-person) position. The position requires at least three days in our Norwich office each week. The starting salary range for this position is from $60,000 to $65,000, commensurate with experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Working with the creative team to develop design concepts and execute designs that meet the clients' marketing objectives: This involves collaborating with the client and internal team members to understand the project requirements and develop design solutions that effectively communicate the intended message to the target audience.
- Collaborating with copywriters and other designers to create cohesive and effective marketing campaigns, ensuring that the visual and written elements of a marketing campaign work together to achieve the desired outcome.
- Designing and creating a variety of marketing materials such as print and digital advertisements, social media graphics, email campaigns, website design, and branding materials.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring that all designs are visually appealing, on-brand, and effective in reaching and engaging the target audience:
- Managing time effectively and communicating effectively with team members and clients to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and design best practices to continually improve work quality, learn and evolve skills to stay relevant, and deliver high-quality work that meets the industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
- A minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience as a graphic designer, preferably in a marketing or advertising agency setting.
- Proven extensive knowledge of fundamental design principles and the ability to self-evaluate design choices critically
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design styles and projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).Experience in XD, After Effects, and Premier Pro a plus
- Knowledge of web design principles and experience with content management systems such as WordPress.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and represent the agency effectively when communicating with clients.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Ability to effectively manage time working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with project management programs preferred.
- May require periodic local (in state) travel to client meetings or events as needed.
