Description: Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking to add a Technical Account Manager to join our exceptional team. At Charles IT, Technical Account Managers serve as both strategic technical advisors and relationship managers, aligning business needs with tailored IT strategies. Technical Account Managers are trusted to bridge the gap between business and technology, delivering proactive solutions and technical expertise tailored to each client’s environment, and often working with our clients’ internal IT teams.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Achieve and maintain positive, long lasting, and real relationships with your technical client base and act as their primary point of contact for Charles IT
- Design and maintain detailed technology roadmaps that align with the client’s business objectives.
- Maintain and align in-depth technical knowledge of current Charles IT products, services, and offerings
- Have close involvement in technical projects, escalations, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Guide internal IT teams in adopting Charles IT’s tools, platforms, and processes for smooth, efficient integration.
- Identify and address potential technical challenges before they impact business operations.
- Continue to cross-sell, recommend and integrate Charles IT solutions to achieve stack attainment
- Deliver high-impact technical advisory services and lead billable projects to drive value for the client.
- Respond to clients in a timely manner and establish realistic client expectations
- Maintain customer documentation
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent in a related field
- 3+ years of experience as an Account Manager with demonstrated success in client engagement, forecasting, and MRR growth
- 3+ years as a Technician/System Administrator with hands-on experience in networking, cloud environments, or IT infrastructure
- Superior oral and written communication skills required
- Technical certifications in Microsoft, Ciso, Virtualization and Project Management are a plus
- Experience with ConnectWise, Cisco, Meraki, Datto, VMware, Office 365 platform and Advanced Support on Mac OS is a plus
- Enthusiastic and dedicated to the challenges of a growing company and client base
- Excellent follow-through to see tasks through completion
